University of California, Agriculture and Natural Resources - forest stewardship education and technical support

Forest landowners in Shasta and surrounding counties seeking to make their forests healthy and resilient to wildfire are encouraged to participate in a Forest Stewardship Workshop Series on Wednesday evenings, September 16-November 18, 2026. This opportunity is open to a statewide audience, and is hosted by University of California, Agriculture and Natural Resources in collaboration with community organizations including Western Shasta RCD, Shasta Valley RCD, Tehama County RCD, Trinity County FireSafe, and Shasta County FireSafe.
