Our fuels crews provide a free chipping service to landowners south of Hayfork Summit who prepare piles of brush for safe disposal, while the TCRCD serves communities to the north. To learn more and sign up, visit firesafetrinity.org or call the WRTC Hayfork Office at 530-628-4206.

  • Cost Share Programs

WRTC works with organizations like the Natural Resource Conservation Service (NRCS) to identify rural landowners with large parcels who want to steward their forested lands. Programs like EQIP help forest landowners integrate conservation into working lands - WRTC provides certified foresters and matches Trinity County landowners with opportunities like this.
